Pingüino

Created in 2020 by Renata and Santiago, two designers native to Mexico City who share great passion for their country’s handicrafts, the store showcases pieces for the home that have been carefully selected by the owners of Pingüino. The sole requirement for these objects to become part of the family is that they make them smile.

Together, after researching the region they wish to explore, they travel across Mexican states in search of these pieces: some are replicable and others, unique —but all genuinely Mexican.

Mirzam Chocolate Makers

Mirzam Chocolate’s single origin cacao beans have been chosen for the diverse flavours and rich heritage experienced along the maritime Spice Route that traders sailed hundreds of years ago to gather valuable ingredients to sell on to European buyers.

Using granite wheels, the roasted cocoa beans are ground for several days in a process which slowly decreases the molecule size to create incredibly smooth chocolate with no need for additional additives. They also work with talented artists from the region and beyond, to create their one-of-a-kind wrappers and packaging.
